Rentable Camcorders instead of a videographer

Hi everyone. Not getting married until next year but I got this interesting ad today for Luv Film- basically they send you one or two camcorders and your guests film moments they think are important. They then edit the footage for you into a wedding film. I've never thought of myself as someone who would watch my wedding video back nor do I want to invest a significant amount of my budget for it, but a lot of people say they love theirs or they regret not having it done. This kind of seems like a happy medium. But their account is small and it seems like a newer service. Has anyone tried something like this? Maybe you did it yourself or better yet you used them?
