entitled people ordering off instacart
i wanna talk about the people who think tipping is not necessary for a service such as instacart. peoples main argument is “if you don’t like the pay get a different job” have y’all thought about what happens when no one decides to work for pennys? you would have to go back to paying extra for services that got you your orders before instacart delivered. which was a lot higher bc people didn’t undervalue their time and gas money. yet bc of covid it’s become normal to use platforms such as instacart. the same people saying “get a different job” i ask you this. what would you do if instacart ceased to exist? bc i feel a majority of you would be upset bc you can’t have someone else waste their time saving YOU time. it’s easy to say “pick a different job” but y’all fail to understand what would happen if everyone followed that logic. the people getting your orders aren’t people that WANT to do it. it’s people that in this high economy NEED to make ends meet. you pay $9.99 a month for a subscription which is $2.49 a week if you think that’s enough to pay for a person to waste their gas and time to bring you groceries bc you pay that small fee, you’re dense.
