Team composition and when to use Less Likely to be Targeted
I've played a couple of games with my friend where I was Revenant, he was Ironeye and our random was Wylder. We're up against Everdark Tricephalos. Ironeye is running Less Likely to be Targeted while neither of us other two are. My friend is definitely the better player of between himself and myself.
As we're running this nightlord in Depth 4, I am struggling to survive, let alone even get any damage off due to being targeted constantly. This is a common theme anytime our team composition is like this. I cannot get off damage without going down due to holding most of the aggro. I am essentially useless, with him ending up being the last one standing, trying to revive both of his teammates.
I feel he is taking from the DPS by using LLtbT, especially as a ranged Ironeye. Maybe I need to git gud, but I feel that's irrelevant. He knows my skill level and should be playing accordingly to the team's composition, skill level included. He thinks I need to live up to his expectations of what a team member should be capable of and that I'm just using his use of LLtbT as a scapegoat for not being good at the game.
What do you guys think? Is LLtbT selfish and hurting the team in this instance? When should somebody be using this passive? I think only certain bosses (Everdark Libra)/team compositions (team with Guardian) should use it, otherwise avoid it entirely. I think he's taking away from my DPS by carrying it. I don't feel Ironeye should even use it, since he can mark dodge. I'd love some feedback.
