Adjusting brightness

Yo.

I’m new to the M series MacBooks. I have a MacBook Pro M4 base model. I’m coming from the intel MacBook and I never used color LCD (the colors felt too washed out and bland for my taste, so I often used Color Match.

Anyway, long story short, I could normally adjust the brightness on the Intel Mac. It doesn’t seem like I can on the M series. I vaguely recall being unable to adjust with the MacBook intel but I could be wrong.

Anyway, is there a way to adjust the brightness when a preset is changed on the M series?
