Did you keep your pants on for surgery?

I was looking up if you keep your pants on during surgery because I imagine it would be difficult to get dressed after surgery.
Some of the internet says, yes you keep your pants and underwear on. Some of the internet says you can wear underwear but no pants.
Just curious
