[KCD1] After playing through kcd2, should I play the first game and if so, what should be the first things I do?

I'm sure this gets asked quite a lot, but should I play the first game, if so a) realistically what's the difficulty increase like and b) what are the first things I should do so I don't get my shit kicked in immediately?

My power supply on pc has been busted for like a month now and I'm awaiting a replacement, in the meantime I've been stuck with my ps5 and have been hella bored, luckily KCD1 was recently added to ps catalogue, and so this is what has recently sparked my curiosity
