Joined XC and might want fitness tracker

Hey yall, i just joined my XC team, but i also bike a ton and hike a decent bit. My friends all love COROS, and I am wondering if i get a COROS, what one should i get. My friends love the pace 4, but is it also good for cycling (not as a bike computer replacement)?
