tyre size

planning to buy new wheels for my 8th gen civic (asian model). i am 99% sold on going 17x8 with +44 offset but still unsure if im gonna go 215/45 or 225/45.

For reference i came from a 215/50/17 EP3 type r wheels i love it but its only 7" wide way tucked inside the fender (and got destroyed on an accident).

I'm also planning to use lowering springs. i want the meatier 225/45 but hesitating as it might rub on full turns or if i have 2 passengers in the back.

i think its safer with 215/45 but isnt that gonna be too stretched out?

Also, the lowering spring would give a drop about 1.2-1.5" max.
