Husband rejected sex

I (28)have a higher libido than my husband (32) and always have. It really sucks and makes me not like my marriage as it has caused a lot of issues. The other day I told him I wanted to and he flat out told me he was too tired and even though I understand someone can be too tired, he had two days off work and this was the night before work and only 10pm. We do have three little children who also contribute to us having sex less which is perfectly fine but I told him I wanted to at least once a week. What hurts more (being rejected hurt a lot) is that a few days prior he wanted a quickie and I didn’t really want to but did it anyways for him. So I felt like even when I’m tired (I take care of the house and kids 95% of the time) I still want time with him. There’s been other issues in our marriage with him not giving much affection etc… it just sucks. Has anyone else had this experience? What did you do?
