How did you ACTUALLY get good at Maths/Add Maths? (Cambridge/O-Level students 🇲🇺)

For people who were GENUINELY VERY BAD at Cambridge/O-Level Maths and Additional Maths — like actually struggling to understand concepts, constantly getting questions wrong, and feeling completely lost 💀 — how did you eventually get better?
Especially fellow Mauritians 🇲🇺: what actually worked for you? Past papers, tuition, YouTube, practising every day, changing your study method, etc.?
Also, which teachers/YouTube channels helped you the most? 👀
I don’t want “I was already good but wanted an A*” stories 😭. I want people who were ACTUALLY BAD and managed to turn it around. What did you do?
I want like someone who was failing, got about 40-60 marks over 100!!! 😭 Plus I got tuition EVERYDAY. Come home late and Have to study💔
