I want to expand my skincare routine, but I know I need to start slow. Looking for advice to make sure what I'm doing is safe!

\- Turning 30 soon, starting to get some fine lines on my forehead & under the eyes

\- Combination skin, a lot of texture & dry skin buildup

\- Splotchy redness & general unevenness, but I think a lot of this is from over-exfoliation with an exfoliator wash cloth (I knowww)

\- Not a lot of acne, but have large pores and constantly clogged on my chin & nose

\- Mild eczema, but thankfully don't flare up often. I need to use Hydrocortisone very sparingly, usually only in the winter

My current routine:

AM

1. Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel Cleanser

2. Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel

3. CeraVe Peptide Eye Cream

PM (rarely)

1. Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel Cleanser

2. CeraVe Night Cream

3. CeraVe Peptide Eye Cream

I've come up with the following plan based on The Ordinary's Regimen Builder. I included pictures of the products for some ingredient reference.

AM

1. Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel Cleanser

2. TO Saccharomyces Milky Toner

3. TO Multi-Peptide eye serum (water-based)

4. TO Caffeine face serum (emulsion)

5. Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel

PM

1. Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel Cleanser

2. TO Multi-Peptide eye serum (water-based)

3. TO Caffeine face serum (emulsion)

4. TO Azelaic Acid (suspension)

5. CeraVe Night Cream

PM (alternative)

1. Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel Cleanser

2. TO Glycolic Acid Toner - 3x / week

3. TO Multi-Peptide eye serum (water-based)

4. TO Caffeine face serum (emulsion)

5. CeraVe Night Cream

I'm unsure what to do about the Gycolic Acid- from what I read, it shouldn't be used at the same time as the milky toner or the azelaic acid. Could it be beneficial to use all 3 cycled through, or is this overkill?

Open to recommendations for other products as well!

Newbie Skincare Routine- any advice appreciated!
