First Family trip to Grand Canyon
We just got back from our first family trip to the Grand Canyon. My 15 year old daughter didn't think she would like it, but she really enjoyed it.
We stayed at the Squire Inn, which. was nice, but I hope to go back and stay in the park to see the stars. We didn't use the pool enough to justify staying there again. She did use the gym facility.
The lines were not too long for anything. We noticed that food was very expensive both in and out of the park.
I hope we will go back and do more next time. My husband didn't want to hike Bright Angel trail because he is a clumsy guy and his gut was telling him don't go. So, we walked the Trail of Time. Maybe next time, we could bike the rim.
It's an amazing place. I'm very thankful for it, It is real.
By the way, the wifi was not a problem anywhere in the park we went, nor in Tusayan. It did cut out a little bit on the Desert View Drive, but other than that, we had strong access all the time.
