Help calm my nervous system in my kitchen with the right kitchen cabinet paint.

Landlord replaced our kitchen flooring and now nothing works together in this room. I want to paint the original 1950s cabinets a color that is modern while still maintaining the same vibe (I LOVE the shape of those cabinets). What color(s) do you think would accomplish this? Can’t do much about the furniture color clashing with the flooring so it kind of is what it is unless you guys got some great ideas for that as well.
