Tips on Cleaning A Room To Prevent Mite Reinfestation?

Questions/HELP

Hello, my rat group got mites. Treated the boys with the worst cases (for some reason only one had scabbing and the youngest had none) first about a week ago with revolution, just to give some relief while getting everything together, have been juggling with other boys health and recovering. Tomorrow plan to though getting them all treatment and deep cleaning.

I know what to do for the cage (freeze bedding and food, freeze or throwing away toys or store somewhere else for a while). But I'm unsure how to go about the room itself, since it's also my bedroom + their enough free roam area. And I own a lot of wooden furniture, fabric items, cardboard, carpeted floor.

Would it be enough to vacuum and clean as would with human lice and just have the boys stay up in the cage/off the floor for a few weeks, or would it require something like a full steam clean?
