I had 6 rounds of ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) when I was 20. AMA

ECT is a pretty intensive treatment for mental health issues where they put you to sleep and place electrodes on your head and basically give you a seizure while you’re out. you wake up all sore and discombobulated. because of this treatment I lost about 6 months of my memory. I don’t agree with ECT treatment, it should be banned.
