44F Missouri looking for Adventure Partner
Hello everyone! ❤️ This is probably going to be a long one, so I apologize in advance! 😅
I’m a 44-year-old woman currently living in Missouri. Before I get into what I’m looking for, I thought I’d tell you a little about myself so you can get to know me and what makes me, well… me. 😊
So, let’s start with the important stuff!
First and foremost, I live with chronic migraines. Because of that, I use marijuana to help manage the pain, and it has made a huge difference for me. Some days are harder than others, though, and there are definitely days when my big accomplishment is doing the bare minimum and surviving the day. 😂 Because of my migraines, I’m currently on disability. I know that may not be what everyone is looking for, especially if financial stability is a major priority, and I completely understand that. It’s simply the hand life has dealt me, and I’m doing the best I can with it.
Second, I have ADHD, which means my brain occasionally has a mind of its own. I can start one thing, get halfway through it, suddenly remember something else, start that, and then completely forget what I was doing in the first place. 😂 So yes… sometimes cabinets get left open, projects remain half-finished, and I may walk into a room and immediately forget why I’m there.
Third, I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life, but I’m working on living a healthier lifestyle now. I’ve been going to the gym, eating healthier, and learning to make better choices. I absolutely LOVE cooking and trying new recipes, especially finding healthy meals that are actually delicious. I’m not looking for someone who lives at the gym or counts every calorie, but I would love a partner who encourages me, helps keep me focused, and wants to build healthier habits together.
Fourth, I’m a gamer. I would much rather spend an evening gaming than sitting around watching TV, although I definitely enjoy a good movie night too—especially horror movies. 🎮🖤
Fifth, I’m actually pretty active and love getting out and doing things. I love being on the river or lake, kayaking, camping, hiking, going to festivals, checking out events, and generally finding excuses to get out of the house and have some fun. I don’t need every weekend to be an adventure, but I definitely don’t want life to consist of sitting on the couch 24/7.
Sixth, I LOVE gardening. There’s something incredibly satisfying about growing your own vegetables, walking outside and picking something you grew yourself, and then turning it into dinner. I also enjoy canning and preserving things, so yes, I’m basically an old soul in a younger package. 😂🌱
Seventh and eighth—because apparently I can't count—I'm an animal lover, and I like having a clean house. Not a spotless, nobody-is-allowed-to-touch-anything kind of house, but a comfortable, lived-in home that is still clean and organized. I will admit, though, I’m notorious for leaving the books I’m currently reading EVERYWHERE. So when I say “lived-in,” I mean there may be a book on the couch, one on the nightstand, and somehow another one in the kitchen. 😂
My love language is words of affirmation. I love being appreciated, encouraged, reassured, and reminded that I’m loved. Little things mean a lot to me, especially when they’re genuine.
❤️ Now, what am I looking for? ❤️
I’m looking for a partner who is interested in building an actual relationship—not just someone to pass the time with.
I tend to prefer a more dominant partner, someone who naturally likes to take the lead. I like confidence, direction, and someone who knows what they want, while still understanding that a healthy relationship is a partnership where both people have a voice and their needs matter.
I’m also looking for a gamer. I’ve tried dating non-gamers before, and honestly… it just doesn’t seem to work for me. 😂 I’d definitely prefer a PC gamer, but I suppose I could possibly tolerate a console gamer. 😉🎮
I need someone who is either 420-friendly or at least completely accepting of marijuana being part of my life. It’s something I use to help manage my migraines, and it isn’t something I’m willing to give up, so compatibility and acceptance there are important to me.
I want someone who understands that a relationship is a partnership. I’m not looking for someone who expects their partner to cook, clean, manage everything, and take care of them. I want two people who work together, support each other, communicate, share responsibilities, and make each other’s lives better.
I want someone who likes to go out, explore, have fun, make memories, and occasionally be completely ridiculous together. Someone who can enjoy a quiet night at home just as much as a day spent kayaking, hiking, camping, gaming, or exploring a festival.
And yes, physical affection and intimacy are important to me too. I’m looking for someone with a healthy sex drive who enjoys affection, closeness, passion, and intimacy. I want that physical connection to be a natural and enjoyable part of a relationship, not something we avoid talking about.
Ultimately, I’m looking for someone who can be my partner, my best friend, my gaming buddy, my adventure buddy, my safe place, and occasionally the person who tells me, “Yes, you absolutely need to stop starting new projects and finish the ones you already have.” 😂❤️
I’m not looking for perfect. I’m looking for real.
Someone loyal. Someone affectionate. Someone communicative. Someone who knows how to laugh, who wants to experience life, and who is willing to grow together.
If you made it this far, congratulations—you survived the novel. 😂❤️
