So I'm not a vegetarian, but apparently that food plan works best for me.

I had an allergic reaction after preparing a meal for my family (steak, bacon wrapped scallops, and Caesar's salad)

Now, it wasn't life threatening, but it was certainly unpleasant.

So I put myself on a simple, easily digestible food diet for a bit. I allow myself fish (I have a natural Omega 3-6-9 deficiency and Flax oil doesn't work) and eggs (mostly because my wife buys dozens at a time)

Well, I've been sleeping longer and better (I am an insomniac) I've had less trouble breathing (Asthma and allergies) and my skin started getting better.

I decided to break away from that and had a simple burger.

Now my stomach is upset, my sinuses are clogged, and I'm a little freaked out.

How do I react to this? I do love vegetables, but I also enjoy BBQing for my friends and making celebratory meals for my family (Thanksgiving and Christmas)

I don't have a vegetarian mentality, but my body is clearly telling me I need to look at more wholesome sources of nutrition.

How do I change that mentality after 5 decades of being an omnivore?
