Heart palpitations while weight lifting
Hi all!
I developed some orthostatic intolerance after severe weight loss during an eating disorder. As of now, my weight is back (woohoo!) but my nervous system is …. Not. I was diagnosed with this biz recently and am still getting used to it (the symptoms were covered by the other stuff when I was in the thick of my ED).
One tricky thing is the heart palpitations. They don’t happen super duper often (maybe once a day for about a second) unless I work out. I’ve been lifting light weights (5-20lbs) and notice that even the slightest exertion causes this to happen. It isn’t painful. I don’t feel dizzy when it occurs.
Is this fairly normal?
