Okay I have a rant about this season...

For context, I am a BB superfan. Watched every episode of every season, watch the feeds almost daily, etc etc. But unfortunately this season, the icons are so obviously being protected by production. Here's why I think this:

1. Week 1, only the icons could win HOH. I understand that their team of 4 was also safe, but only THEY could get HOH. Automatically that positions them great because people come to them for power alliances the first week.

2. The time capsule. Automatically, Dee and Devens get the majority of America's vote by way of the Survivor fanbase over all newbies. And not only that, they are magically the only two that have ever received a power from the time capsule game. And out of the powers they did get, Devens gets arguably the greatest power he could've gotten that basically guarantees to get him to jury. He used this DPOV to take another icon off as soon as she touched the block and get the biggest threat against the icons out. Fishy much?

3. Tonight's block buster comp. The space race. Not only did Angela know the strategy to win the competition because Tucker told her, she also bragged about it on feeds for WEEKS. now I know she also told Haley this strategy, who also told Kamu. That's not the issue. The issue is the first time an icon competes in the BB this season, this is conventiently the comp Angela gets after bragging about how she knows how to win it.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the icons steam roll the rest of the season. The newbies are too ignorant to target them, Drew and Barrett are their lapdogs, Melody and Mallory are floaters, and Yash, Taylor, and Lala simply don't have the manpower.

It's very disappointing to see all of these things so conveniently line up for the icons.
