CPAP causing CSA?

I recently got diagnosed with mild OSA. Around 7-10 events a night. Got put on CPAP but noticed that I was still having around 7 events a night on average. After the follow-up appointment with my doctor, I was told that all of these events were now being flagged as central events. My doctor seemed to be at a loss for what was causing that and I’m wondering if there’s any setting I can change on my machine to fix this? Is it something that can be fixed?
