Did I do the right thing?

I’m so sick of disrespect on transit by strangers. I take transit a lot and was sitting down and this old man gets on who didn’t speak english and waves hes hand at me to get out of the seat for him I stood up and yelled do not disresoect women like this you ask politely to sit not make a gesture for me to get out of the seat in a mean way. I was super mad because multiple strangers pissed me off and as I was exiting I took the straw out of my water bottles and spritz a few drops I know it’s childish and it’s was like 3 drops as I didn’t want it to be somethibt serious.
