[ps3] [2008-2013?] Anime style shooter type game?

So I bought a game in 2017 from a pawn shop to play on my ps3. I didn't play much only the first level where I was a superhero type of character and I think I had a samurai sword and a gun/gun hand? The thing I remember the most is the first boss was a child and she turns into a scorpion type of monster. During the cinematic her head turns all the way around and detaches from the body then the body grows extra spider like legs. It creeped me out but I've never remembered the name and would like to give it a revisit!!
