Spinal Fluid / brain sag, in May. New Fibro diagnosis.

Question

(38 F) The spinal fluid leak turned into a traumatizing event that left me bed ridden for almost a month. While most usually experience just headaches when upright, when I was upright for more than 10 mins, I’d lose the ability to walk, talk (the ER thought I was having a stroke each time I went in) and then eventually I would lose consciousness. After two blood patches I was eventually able to return to life. by the end of July we were able to go on a road trip and I think I felt great then. I had started Naltrexone 4.5mg 2 weeks prior and I felt optimistic during our 8 day trip that things would be well coming home, but the fatigue Ive been experiencing this past month has been insane.

Can anyone speak to a traumatic health event and the amount of time it took to actually rebound? Or did my trip steal something from me? I did go steadily everyday pretty much, but I didn’t feel like I was over doing it.

My mom passed in December and she mentioned to me maybe 20 years ago she had fibromyalgia and I can’t ask her now obviously, but I remember most of my child with her in her bed. The thought of that scares me! Her and my dad leaving me up to my own devices (as well as other things they did and did not do) led to lots of therapy.

I actually have felt after several years of failed tests to figure out what is wrong with me, therapy, my dad and mom’s health issues and my mom’s passing, that I was emerging.
But what is this I’m experiencing now? I’ve always had fatigue, I just feel confused thinking I was on the other side.

I'm leaving a lot of other details out, but alas this is a Reddit post, not an autobiography.
