Why does casually dating get a bad wrap, especially when you’re a woman?

I (f28) have been casually dating for a couple years now. So for me that means I go on a few dates probably every couple weeks at least, most of the time by the third date things kinda naturally fizzle out.

I really enjoy dating this way bc I just love getting out, meeting new people, experiencing different things and just generally sharing a moment with people.

I also like that it allows me to enjoy my full life, I can focus on my career and my social circle… I have time for my hobbies, I can just take off and head out for a trip on a whim!

Now I am completely open to something long term developing, but I’m not gonna chase or force something that doesn’t feel right or won’t add to both our lives.

This all just feels so logical, but when it comes out I get accused of everything from leading men on (they know from the jump about this), to sleeping around (casually dating doesn’t equal sex fyi).

Basically it really feels like women especially get more shit than they deserve when we date this way.

TL:DR: I go on plenty of dates and don’t chase something that won’t add to my life (I’m transparent about this)
