18 days post hemorrhoid rubber banding. Is it normal for the area to still prolapse? Has anyone experienced the band falling off only at day 13?

I actually didn’t see mine fall off but around days 9 and 13 I felt a sudden surge in pain after BM. It felt like an open wound or something. Like when you have a mouth sore and something just brushed against it.
