Waiting for surgery date

IDC ++- grade 3 clinical stage 1b

Today officially makes 2 weeks since my diagnosis. I have my last scan this week, and next week I have a consult with the PS and follow up with the BS to finalize everything for surgery. Honestly everything is moving pretty fast but I’m still nervous about not having a surgery date. It feels silly because I’m sure I had cancer for a long time before I actually knew, but now that it’s official I’m paranoid that it’s progressing in this waiting period.

Since there’s literally nothing more I can do but wait, I guess I’m just looking for ways to ease my anxiety. I do have a therapist appointment coming up also.

Out of all the Facebook/online support groups, this one has brought me the most comfort. Thank you and appreciate you all.
