I just got scoliosis surgery in May would I qualify for the Credit? I noticed after the surgery I cannot bend pretty much at all and surgeon said it is meant to be like that.

I had a 52° curve of scoliosis in my back and got 2 rods and about 100 screws in my spine in May. Surgeon told me to apply for Disability tax credit but my Family Doc said I might as well not apply because I only earned about 7500$ each year for the past 3 years I could barely work due to my spine. I have been told it doesnt matter how much taxes you pay you can still get the grants each year but I do not know. Also I am on ODSP at the moment and to apply for the disability tax credit the one for people on odsp you need the one benefit. Should I go to my local Law Van it is free and they could help but I don't know when they are in my town next
