Rust Proofing recommendations / opinions wanted!

I have a 2024 Golf R and i want to get it ready for the up coming winter. Anyone got any good recommendations for rust proofing? Should i go with oil spray and touch ups each year ? A place near me offers a 8 year warranty wax rust proofing Any good places to go near the GTA or Tri-cities ? Or should i just go to Krown and have it sprayed.
