No idea how HR screen went

I had a phone screen today with the HR Manager for a job I applied to a month ago. The company is in my preferred career area I’m trying to break into, but the specific role is more on the operational side. I don’t have any prior experience in the exact role, but I’ve consistently done the same things in all my previous jobs. I met the qualifications so I’m not so much worried about that.

It’s my first time going through the typical “corporate” hiring process of HR screens, panels, etc. I’m generally a good interviewer but the impersonal nature of phone screens made me act a bit nervous. I generally got my points across, but I feel like I was kinda rambling. More at the beginning, and it improved as time went on. It’s clear the questions were pre-decided and she was just noting my answers. I got the impression that she follows a standard process and passes the info along. She felt a bit robotic while asking questions. Once I started asking questions at the end, it felt less mechanical and she seemed happy to talk about her pride in working for the company and the community created by the staff. She explained next steps, that I’d hear within two weeks and what the rest of the process looks like if I get moved forward. The call was scheduled for 30-40 minutes and it lasted just under 40.

I thought I’d totally thrown it in the first few minutes with me anxiously tripping over words, but I felt a bit better towards the end. I know I’d do better in the Zoom call, so I hope I get to prove myself there. Did I completely blow it? Is there anything that sticks out as being a bad sign? How serious are HR screens about confidence as long as they get the right information? What are the deciding factors at this stage?
