I need advice on 2k primer application

Hey reddit!

I am not sure what to do, so I am seeking help on this thread. So, I am restoring E36’s underbody currently and I brushed all of the materials of to the bare metal and because I don’t want to mix 2k primer everytime for a small spot and clean my gun afterwards I sprayed 1k NOVOL primer over cleaned (with isopropanyl) bare metal. Have in mind that i do this in my free time not proffesionaly!

Now I need your help. If I gently brush withh 250gritt/matte the 1k primer which is applied on bare metal and clean it can I go over it with 2K epoxy primer? I am constantly learning things about restoration so please help me out on this one.
