Princess Diana was not a good person

There seem to be a handful of figures in popular culture who are given Christ-like worship and immunity from all criticism; Princess Diana was one of them. She was universally exalted as the ‘People’s Princess,’ breaking outdated traditions, connecting with the ordinary folk, going to McDonald’s, shaking hands with AIDS patients, setting fashion trends etc etc. In reality, she was an extremely selfish, mentally unstable woman who tried to bring down the royal family. Firstly, we can’t forget that she literally threw herself down the stairs while four months pregnant with William, simply to get her husband’s attention! For some reason that fact has been completely memory-holed by the media and public. Think about it, how narcissistic and reckless do you have to be to be willing to kill your own child, simply to get your husband to listen to you. If your average Jane did that, we would put her in a padded room. Furthermore, she broke trust, just like Harry & Meghan, by airing out family drama in public, exposing divides in the family. That is a dereliction of duty! In any family, but especially the BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY, you must maintain composure and keep a united front at all times, regardless of your personal feelings. It is about keeping public confidence in your ability to lead, and this is crucial because the royal family is supposed to be the symbol of the state, so what does it say if they can’t keep their own house in order? So yes, Princess Diana was not the saint she is made out to be. And before anyone says it, no I’m not excusing the then-Prince Charles’ faults, but he did know how to keep his mouth shut, unlike Diana.
