How can I get my keyboard and trackpad working on my Thinkpad Edge 15?

Hi! I am getting started with Hackintoshing and have set myself the challenge of making a HackBook with an old thinkpad (Thinkpad Edge 15) that i got given for free by a family member. I have got as far as to get it to boot to the High Sierra installer but the built-in keyboard and trackpad do not work. Specs (according to fastfetch):

HOST: Thinkpad Edge 03192AG
CPU: Intel Core i3 M370 @ 2.40GHz
GPU: [Integrated graphics]
MEMORY: 4GB

I did, however, notice that OpCore-Simplify didnt give me the option to select any other macos version than High Sierra and when I tried to add the VoodooPS2 kexts they wouldnt appear. Not sure if thats intentional or not.
