kyleena for 8yrs

i recently went to the doctor and they told me that i am fine to keep my kyleena for 8 years. i specifically asked twice if this was accurate as i’ve seen it only approved for 5. the pamphlet online says “over 5 years is 98.6% effective” but spams “5” all over the pages. has anyone else heard this? should i plan to get it taken out at 5 years?
