Question about healing after piercing nipples….

Just a quick question I do not have them pierced yet, but when I get my ears pierced and even with titanium, like they suggest, my ears get very irritated and they take a while to heal. As soon as I switch to something that’s gold plated everything seems to heal up quickly. So my question is will this translate to my nipples do you think? And if so, what are my options for piercing? Should I start off with titanium and hope that they heal better than my ears? Any advice welcome! Thank you!
