New Dialogue Edit Tool Looking For Testers
Hey folks! As a sound designer on audio dramas, the biggest pain that I run into is in the dialogue edit. Isolating and choosing takes, ordering from all of the different actor audio files, and finding pickups way after I've moved on is not exactly my favorite part of audio engineering.
So, I've been working on a tool. It is currently web based, but eventually I plan on making a version that is an add on for Reaper and Audacity.
The tool basically creates a transcription of the audio files and matches it up to the script, putting everything in order and separating takes. You can then play around with the assembly, manage the time between lines, etc to get ready for the real neat and potatoes of the edit.
Of course, I only can find use cases and test things based on my own wants and desires and the weird way my mind works, so I need some beta testers. If anyone is wanting to try it out and put it through the ringer to give feedback, I'd love to see it! Just let me know.
