Why is the Argument from Psychophysical Harmony for God’s Existence Not More Influential?

I was recently made aware of this discussion due to the conversion of a YouTube atheist. When he spoke on it, I assumed this was a brand new argument that hadn’t had time to really enter into broader discussions, but I kind of recoiled when I figured out the paper was three years old.

If the argument is really as strong as people are saying, why is it not more widely discussed? Is it because it’s particularly complicated, did it just fly under the radar for a while? Or was the argument discarded early on for some reason? Maybe I’m just not involved in the circles that are discussing it.
