Desync while on mounts

I apologize if this has already been posted or talked about before.

A friend and I started playing Icarus for a month or two. We ended up getting a dedicated server. A few weeks after we started getting issues while riding on mounts. We would be riding and about 15-30 seconds of riding the mount, the game would seem to desync and give an unlimited amount of stamina. In order to fix this, we would have to hop off the mount and it would teleport us further back in our journey, then rinse and repeat every 15-30 seconds. We love the game but this has been fairly annoying.

Has anyone else experienced this and know of any solutions to how to fix it?
