My CPA prof printed the whole scan copy of the book

My CPA prof printed the whole scan copy of the book na galing sa scribd then binenta nya sa amin. Akala namin yung binili namin is the actual book kasi slight lang yung difference ng price sa shopee, but nung binigay sa amin is literally a scanned copy na nakabind. Some of the pages is not readable din 💀 Is it plagiarism pa rin ba kahit hindi sya nag earn ng profit from it?
