Soundcloud is the worst for distribution of your own music
I've been using Soundcloud for more than a year, and every single time I'm releasing a new track there's issues with it.
- Useless support bot
- INSANELY slow helpdesk (usually about a month, and then not even 100% fixing the issue, (one of my tracks wasn't released on Tidal and after 3 tries I just gave up)
- Always have to follow up a release with something like "hey, my track [trackname] has not been released on [streaming platform]
- Once had a track denied 3x in a row because it kept coming back with error message about the song title being too close to the edge... I'm sorry what? Can I design my own covers please, did not ask for your opinion.
- Releasing a single with a radio edit and an album version has been impossible, eventually could only release the album version.
- Missing Spotify statistics.
AFAIK the slow support is the issue with most distributors, but next to that, Soundcloud is a ridiculously unreliable distribution party.
If anyone knows how to solve the above issues or has other distribution parties that are more reliable, I'd like to hear from you.
