Halloween party

Hi everyone! We are taking our toddler to the MNSSHP this year on Halloween. This is our first time going. We aren’t getting park tickets, so planned on going to the park when we are allowed to enter at 4. Is this too much to pack into the evening: pictures with Jack, dinner at crystal palace (we don’t really need to get character photos, just think the food is better and nice to sit down), trick or treating, rides. We plan on staying late as my toddler is a night owl. My husband thinks the sit down dinner is a bad idea because it’s less flexible and we could be rushing/not see everything. Thank you to all who have suggestions on if this is possible and any advice.
