Job offer: DWP Self Employment Income and Expense Review Agent (EO)

First time posting here

I have been provisionally offered a role as an EO. Currently going through pre employment checks. I was invited to the local offices today in order to have an in person ID check. The lovely lady who I spoke with said I would be offered a starting date soon 🤞🏻

It now all feels very real!!!! I’m successful in my current role within the third sector, but I HATE it. So I know that I need to move on, however being in my current role for a few years, it’s comfortable. I have set shifts on a Monday and a Tuesday and Thursday in order to take my daughter to her extra curricular activities (I’m a single parent) and I work one weekend shift in about 10 so it really suits my home life.

I’m yet to speak to a human! Up until today, it’s all been automated and the lady today was just doing my ID checks.

The ad states that:
you may be required to work at any time between the hours of 7.45 am and 8:00 pm on any day between Monday to Friday, and 8.45 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday.

A working pattern that meets business needs will be discussed and agreed once you have started. You will be given advance notice of your personal work schedule.

Working patterns to support work/life balance such as job sharing, term-time working, flexi-time and compressed hours.

Does anyone have real life experience of this role and would be happy to explain their working pattern?
