What’s your favourite kanji and why?
A question for natives here (and others who know a shitload of kanji): regardless of the meaning and judging solely by visual/way of writing, what do you consider a beautiful kanji and why?
I'm doing some kanji revision right now and I'm starting to think that I think some kanji, meaning aside, are more beautiful than others. Just how I think some Dutch and English words sound more beautiful than others and also appeal to me differently when they're written.
For example, I've noticed that I really like to write 事 because of it's evenly geometric shape, and 教 since the stroke order feels really motorically logical and the diagonal slash through the left part gives it a slight calligraphy-like touch.
(Note: I do not want to learn about the deeper meaning of kanji and radicals, I can easily do that by myself or look it up in a dictionary. I'm actually curious about how natives view their written language, which is why I'm asking this here instead of in a language-related sub.)
