Need a laptop for school but strong enough to run light games (no HP or Mac)

The school required 16gb ram and Intel core i5 13th gen or Ryzen 5.

The use is for coding, design, and engineering software.

Right now I’m considering Asus Vivobook 14 flip (intel core ultra 7) or Asus Vivobook flip (Intel core i9), because I also want it to be compatible with a pen.

Are there better options? Also please tell me your experience if you bought a Vivobook flip.
