Is building mileage more about strength training than running itself?

New Runner Advice

Hello everyone, how are yall doing? I (M24, 60kg) have a kinda dumb question: to be able to increase mileage, should i focus more on strength training than running itself? I started running 10 months ago (with some pauses due to weird pains and a itbs injury), right now i run between 10-25 kms per week.
The thing is, everytime i run closer to 20/25 kms per week (at a slower average pace), i get a "new" pain somewhere, after the run is finished (one week was in my thigh, this week i have pain in my right foot, for example) in general it goes away fast tho. I already train strength once or twice a week, i'm thinking if i should do more strength and reduce running to about 10km a week, for now. What do you all think?
The only running path i have easy access have 200m ascend and 200m descend, for a 10K, so maybe that make things a bit worse too. On Sundays i do my long run in a flat course, but is the only day i can run there.
