HSG test after recurrent ectopic pregnancies

Hi there - I’m 29F and have had two ectopic pregnancies. One resulted in a removal of my left fallopian tube and the other ectopic pregnancy we were able to stop early in my right tube with methotrexate. My doctor suggests we do an HSG test before going into IVF. I’m feeling hopeful I might find answers of “why” this keeps happening with the HSG.

If you’ve had recurring ectopic pregnancies, did you get HSG (x ray test)? Did it give you answers? I don’t know anyone else in my life that has gone through this, and would appreciate any wisdom or advice. Thank you
