Do professionals actually practise communication skills outside of work?

've been thinking about this after working with professionals on communication for several years.

Something I've noticed is that many people know what good communication looks like, but don't get many opportunities to actually practise it.

For example, being able to explain an idea clearly when you're put on the spot, disagree with someone without creating tension, respond when someone challenges your opinion, or contribute confidently to a group discussion.

Most of us get better at these things simply through experience at work, but I'm wondering whether there is a better way to deliberately practise them.

Do people in Gurgaon actually look for opportunities to practise these skills outside their workplace?

Have you ever joined a group, workshop, club, Toastmasters-type organisation, etc. specifically to improve how you communicate with other people?

What was your experience?
