GregTech Modern – Machines Sporadically Not Receiving Enough Power?

Help

Hello everyone,

I’m currently experiencing a rather strange issue with GregTech Modern in ATM9.

I’m using ATM9 version 1.1.1 and GregTech Modern 7.2.0.

The problem is that some of my GregTech machines work perfectly fine, while others suddenly receive too little or even no power at all. This affects both regular GregTech machines and multiblocks such as the Electric Blast Furnace (EBF).

For example, with the EBF, the recipe starts normally, but the energy buffer gradually drains during operation because apparently less EU is being supplied than the machine is consuming. Eventually, the recipe stops. This happens even though my power supply should be more than sufficient.

I’ve already tried several things:

  • 16A LV Energy Converter
  • Even 2× 16A LV Converters as a test
  • A Flux Point connected directly to the machine
  • Different GregTech versions (upgrading and downgrading)
  • Testing different machines

Despite all of this, the problem still occurs. What’s particularly strange is that some machines work normally for a while and then start having the same issue again. So it doesn’t seem to be a problem with a specific broken machine.

I’ve played GregTech before with a different version, and my power network with practically the same setup worked without any issues. Because of this, I suspect there might be a bug or an issue with the current GregTech version or its power transfer system.

The power supply should definitely be sufficient. A 16A LV network should provide enough power for the affected LV machines.

Has anyone experienced this issue with ATM9 1.1.1 / GregTech Modern before, or does anyone know what could be causing it? Is there perhaps a known bug or workaround?

I’d appreciate any suggestions or ideas!
