Help with moving Pokémon from browser Pokémon yellow to new 3ds xl

So firstly I’m very new to this and tried looking up my question online but gave up after 2 hours of getting more and more confused, so bear with me.

I just bought a new 3ds xl on eBay and am waiting for it to arrive. I plan on playing all of the ds and 3ds Pokémon games. As I wait for it to arrive I started to play (on my pc) Pokemon yellow for the gameboy on Vimms lair (playing the game in browser and downloading SAV files and STATE files). I did this because I had downloaded PKHex and found that I was able to transfer the Pokémon from my downloaded saves to PKHex and then (I assumed) from there transfer them to a Pokémon game on my new 3ds xl once it arrives and I mod it.
However I read somewhere that I might be incorrect about the ability to transfer said saves. So that leads to my 2 questions.

1. will I be able to use the browser save of Pokémon yellow that I put through PKHex to transfer my Pokémon to my new 3ds xl once it arrives?

2. if I am able to do that will the pokemon I transferred be “clones” or the actual pokemon, (not totally sure the difference, but i would like it to be the originals)
