Need a proper house cleaning service 😩 Nobroker vs Urban Company — what actually works?

I’ve been looking into professional cleaning services in Pune lately because my house has reached the point where regular sweeping and mopping just isn’t enough anymore. 😭 Between dusting, kitchen cleaning, bathroom scrubbing, laundry and all the other daily chores, it feels like there’s always something left unfinished.

I recently came across an article about how startups are trying to solve these everyday household pain points by providing housekeepers and home services within minutes, covering everything from sweeping and dusting to cooking, laundry and even pet-related tasks. It was interesting to see how quickly this space is growing, but it also mentioned that the sector has its own challenges, which made me a little more careful about choosing a service.

I’m currently comparing Nobroker and Urban Company, along with a couple of local cleaning services. My main requirement is a proper deep clean, especially the kitchen, bathrooms, windows, fans and those corners that somehow collect dust no matter how often you clean. 😅

For anyone who has recently booked a professional cleaning service, what was your experience like? Did they actually complete everything included in the package, bring proper equipment and take enough time to do the job properly? Also, was the pricing clear from the beginning?

Would really appreciate genuine suggestions. I don’t mind paying for a good service, but I’d rather know what to expect before booking instead of discovering on the day that “deep cleaning” apparently means a quick sweep, mop and goodbye. 😂
