Behind the ear pain and dizziness

Hi all, first time posting here. My story is I’ve been on and off benzos for 6 years since leaving the military. I got them prescribed from VA IN 2019 and were prescribed 1mg lorazepam a day for id say 3 years came off cold turkey was absolutely hell. Got back on benzoes like 6 moths later but clonazepam this time. I’m up and down on dosages every week, sometimes 2mg or 3mg then back down. But have finally started to taper to 0.5mg consistently the past week. Went to ER last night because I had this severe pain behind my ear and dizziness. Obviously they tested for Covid, flu etc. all came back negative. Got a CT scan of my sinuses and head nothing came back either. Labs all are good. Wondering if anyone has experienced auditory like issues I described during a taper?
